Ranger's Arrow Inn

Welcome to the Rangers Arrow, I'm glad you decided to grace us with your presence this evening. Let me take your cloaks and I'll show you to a wonderful seat over by the fire. Would you like me to bring you some spiced cider to help warm you up, it's made from local apples, cinnamon imported from Harth and Chamomile gathered from the hills to the west.

Amy will be your server tonight, she's a wonderful child, came to us from Whitewater, so if you'd like a little news from outside of our idyllic valley, I'm sure she'd be more than happy to talk your ear off.

Specials, yes we do have a couple of specials. Chef has prepared a very rich venison potpie, lots of carrots and potatoes. We also have a special, which isn't feeling that special anymore, but still is very good. A few months back a giant worm attacked some of the outlying farms. Let me tell you, there's a lot of meat in a 50 foot giant worm. We were able to get some of the meat and we smoked it. Chef has been serving it shredded on a bed of fresh lettuce with an herb dressing. It is very tasty, but I'll be glad when it's finally gone; it's taking up too much space in the storage room.

That. Yes that's one of our pride and joys. The original owner of the Ranger's Arrow, it was called Hank's back then, tracked, killed, and then had the beast stuffed. It's been hanging on the wall almost 650 years. I can't imagine tracking down a demon on purpose, yet alone by yourself and with a bow as a weapon. As the story goes, he killed it with two shots; one in the demons left eye, the other in its right. It is a little surprising, a few people who come in are put off by it, but mostly it seems to keep the riffraff out.

Well if you don't have any more questions, I'd better be off and see about getting you your drinks and sending Amy your way.
